This work is heavily influenced by Tom Phillips and his seminal work “A Humument”. If you’re not familiar with him please have a look at his website www.tomphillips.co.uk
I like this way of working as it allows me to develop ideas quickly and then move on to something else. Each page is as much or as little as it is. Short and sweet.
There is also the advantage that they take up a lot less room than the paintings and also occasionally inspire lyrics for some of the Forde Wytch material.
